TUXEDO ART GALLERY
is a private visual arts organization dedicated to enriching the cultural environment of Wake Forest. Our goal is to encourage regional artists and enrich the Wake Forest community through the arts. ART AFTER HOURS
The second Friday of each month the gallery presents “Art After Hours” , a special event from 5-8 PM to kick off a new and exciting show featuring the talents of selected local artists.
PRIVATE ART CLASSES

GALLERY HOURS
are by appointment with the Art Director, and during Tuxedo Junction’s published open hours at 405 S. Brooks Street, Wake Forest, N.C. 27587. Appointments welcome!
CALL FOR ARTISTS:
We are currently taking artists’ submissions for monthly rotating exhibits during 2010. We will also feature themed juried shows throughout the year.

Please submit the following materials:
Requirements:
-Digital images of up to three works. Submitted works must be available for the duration of the exhibition.
-Images must be at least 3 mega pixels, approximately 2000×1500 pixels. (Square images may be 1500 x 1500 pixels.) Digital images must be in JPEG format (compatible for both Mac and PC).
- All JPEGs must be titled with the Artist Name, the Title of the Work, and the hanging size dimensions (16X20).
-Materials may be submitted via email or CD by US mail. If materials are mailed on CD, the CD must be labeled with artist’s name.
-Image list including title of work, medium, date, dimensions, and weight.
-Artist statement, including specific information about the works submitted.
-Brief biography (one to two paragraphs), including your experience with art.
-Professional resume.
No materials will be returned. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
